Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever Release "She's There" Single
Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever are a band that has the potential to be "the next big thing". Their sound combines the tightly-wound guitar heroics of The Strokes, with the relaxed Aussie vibe of Courtney Barnett and The Go-Betweens. The results thus far have been nothing short of spectacular. Their latest single "She's There" will do nothing to stop the upward trajectory either. Capitalizing on the momentum built on their 2018 album Hope Downs and the 2019 single "In The Capital", Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever are primed to takeover the airwaves in 2020. "She's There" is not so much a departure from the sound the band created on their debut as it is a natural continuation of musical and melodic ideas. With "She's There" Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have planted a flag and said "this is what we sound like". The next step is to evolve and expand that sound without losing their ability to write sub-4-minute rock songs with hooks for days. For now, enjoy "She's There", and keep an eye out for the new Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever album due this June via Sub Pop Records.
